Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian novelist, nonfiction writer and short story writer. Chimamanda comes from a place we’re she didn’t really get to see black writers. She said when she got to the U.S that black writers saved her it gave her a different look on life. I only became black when I came to America,” When she finally got to college that her roommate didn’t think that she know certain people that was famous in the U.S her roommate felt sorry for her. She all so said that her childhood was great and her dad was a teacher and mother was a nurse.

She want to a school we’re her teacher really didn’t care for that much because she was black and not from the U.S. In class they would be talking about people that’s not from America and would as her questions like she know the answer to them which they were stereotyping her.Because of we’re she’s from. We can all say that teachers sometimes stereotype there students because of there background. When black history comes around some teachers ask black students about personal life like we know the answers to the questions.
